8th Annual Fundraiser (Virtual)

Because of the unique challenges this year with the COVID pandemic, our 8th Annual Fundraising Campaign was held as a week-long online Silent auction Event between October 24 – Oct 30, 2020.

We really didn’t know what to expect, but in the end, despite not being able to come together for our annual dinner, you still helped the Children of Vietnam Benevolent Foundation raise over $19,000. We didn’t expect the Online Silent Auction to be so successful, but we were able to raise $2585 from it, which is half of what we normally make at our live events, for a third of the items we normally lay out. So, THANK YOU to all those who participated and placed bids. It was actually quite fun.

Our deepest, heartfelt thanks to all the amazing businesses and dear friends who helped make our 8th Annual Fundraising Campaign a success during these difficult times. We will do our best to honour your kindness and generosity as we continue to give hope and opportunities to impoverished children through love, education and the provision of basic needs.
