Mai Am Tinh Thuong

Mai Am/Lop Hoc Tinh Thuong is a classroom established by a local organization in Ca Mau, a city in the southernmost tip of Vietnam, where the population is approximately 204,000 people.

The classroom is set up in a donated space to provide a place of learning for children between the ages of 5-16yrs, who because of extreme poverty are unable to attend the regular school system. The teachers are volunteers and the study materials are based on the curriculum of the Ministry of Education.
